The Ramblas of Barcelona stretches approximately 1, 2km., to the north is the Plaza Catalunya and to the south the Port Vell.

The most well-known work by Antonio Gaudí, the Nativity façade and the Holy Family crypt has been declared a “World Heritage Site” by UNESCO.
Another of Gaudi’s creations is located in the north of the centre of Barcelona. It is full of narrow winding roads that cross it.Built between 1900 and 1914, it was commissioned by the tycoon, aristocrat and patron of Gaudí: Eusebi Güell.
The project consisted in the creation of a utopian city-garden in the family farm of the Güell, what little was done was enough to create one of the most magical and original spaces of Barcelona and declared World Heritage by UNESCO.
It is the closest beach to the city centre and has bars and restaurants where you have a nice time.
